“NEST initialization failed for Interactive Engine” ?
Many of you are would have faced this very common error with NEST or NOW trading software.
The error comes about whenever you’re not connected to trading server.
1)Check and correct your system date and time.
2)Check your internet connectivity
3)Ensure that the required ports are not blocked, if its office network ports will be blocked, request your admin team to open ports if not then work around disconnect from office network and connect to internet via dongle or use NEST/NOW mobile application.
4)Ensure firewall or antivirus is not blocking, Add entire software folder in the “Exclusion” path of your Antivirus software.
5)Rename folder C:\Program Files\Omnesys\NEST3\“Nest Plugins” to “NEST1″ or “NEST2″ or “NEST3”
5)Right click on software icon and Run as “Administrator”,
